  • Oh shit that's sad. RiP Deano.

  • RIP Legend

  • True cricketing hero and legend.

He pretty much single handedly grew the interest in the one day game like no one before him. I used to sit there begging for Marsh or Boon to get out so I could watch Deano bat......Loved him as a player - what a champion.

Condolences to his family - 59 is way too young to go.

  • Dean Jones, RIP you champion.

  • Sad news, and thoughts to the family.

He was a pioneer in the one day game. Probably born 20 years too early with the shift towards short format games now.

Will be remembered for his 200 in India.

          • Yes, fortunately I do think BE was aiming it at you, at least , I prefer to think that was the case, nothing personal Pops 😉.

I should add, this assumes BE was actually employing any type of thinking at all!

        • B.E you are a disrespectful piece of shit, with no more right to be on god's clean earth than a weasle. Bet Mummy's real proud of you.

  • Very sad. Great bstsman. RIP Deano

    • Shocked a sad loss

  • Will never forget his 145 against England in a one dayer at the Gabba in 91. Absolutely torched them in the days with tiny bats.

    RIP Deano
