Aus in India

After a promising start, the wheels are coming off.

Always 1 ball away from a collapse in the sub-continent. Been the story for many years ever since we won their last time.

Embarrassing to say the least.

  • LOL I was just about to post a similar blog re the cricket!
Very brash considering the footy kicks off in 1 week.
It's not embarrassing yet? It may turn out to be, but the wicket is already spinning like a fifth day pitch. I have a feeling the Indians will bat far better than us although it's on a very difficult pitch, but who knows? Maybe Starc and Hazel can do the damage? If they can't, we are screwed!

  • They're saying 285 would be a good score?

    • 285 is decent for the 2nd innings but not the 1st. Especially against India in India.

  • Renshaw.... Solid as a rock. Sick but giving his all. This kid should open for us for the next 15 years.
Mitchell Marsh... It's good to be swampys kid isn't it?
    • MM is no better than Faulkner. He's failed time and time again but nepotism rules. We don't need another all-rounder but a batsman in the team. 4 bowlers and 2 part timers like Smith and Warner would have sufficed instead of a guy who scores 20 and picks up 1 wicket.

    • He must be playing with adult dipers. Kudos to Matt.

Having the sh*t's in hot humid weather is a nightmare. Maybe we should install a port-a-loo for between overs breaks right on the fence.

  • Wade is absolute garbage with the bat, hes gotta go, so does marsh.

    • I agree. If Hanscombe can keep then he is not needed. His batting is average at best.

I would have a thought that someone like Vic's Travis Dean who can bat long would have been an option for our batting.

    • He's not much better with the gloves either.

  • Younger team but how do both Marsh brothers get the nod..? I am no expert but look at S Marsh state stats. V brittle, and lets not mention Wade who got in for P Neville....I don't get the serlections. India always hard to beat but some of the above mentioned have poor foot movement, besides Renshaw and Handscombe.
