"Need way more than that, majority of the players signed would be their depth. Even that is rubbish. As Johnny mentioned too, juniors will be hard to come by.
Look at their last two signings. Sorensen and Talakai. Sorensen is a fine signing for…"

"Precisely. Just makes me think someone at NRL HQ - and we all know who - got a very large suitcase of cash from the WA state government for agreeing to this. "

Wile I think they will def. keep both. Hayne is taking up 1/5 of cap approx. They will need to shed some but not these two.
King Henry is an astute man, and maybe the 5/8 they got from Newcastle will make way. I don't think JH will be there long term.
Lots of talent but doesn't seem a good fit to me
elgey was upgraded when they missed out on DCE, titans have a dozen big $ players they can move on before they need to worry about losing ash taylor. (bird friend zillman tyrone roberts shillo mead) and that's before clearing hoffman
they're in a good position unfortunately.......bastards
A report I read had Bennett making overtures to get Taylor back to the horses owing to Hunt's play not lifting. Expect Taylor to get a big offer from Bennett even if he has to keep Hunt for next year. If he does go, then the Titans have Cullen as a back up so fairly handy player there.

The Gold Coast’s backline faces a major shake-up with the arrival of Jarryd Hayne and the likely victims could include William Zillman, Josh Hoffman and David Mead.
Veteran prop Luke Douglas won’t return. Young Brisbane prop Jarrod Wallace has been signed to take his place at the Titans. Former Parramatta rake Nathan Peats’ mortgage on the No 9 jumper is likely to see Daniel Mortimer, Kieran Moseley, and Matt Srama farewelled. Nathan Friend is retiring.
The challenge facing the Titans is how to manage boom youngsters Nathan Davis, Brian Kelly and John Olive, whose talent and performances have seen them earmarked as “can’t miss” prospects.

Whatever happened to Matt Srama? - he came - he conquered all - then POOF, he was gorne.
Is he still injured?
If so, then he has missed almost 2 seasons with injury - another Kaysa Pritchard perhaps?
Yes Col I saw that about poor old Bennett. He seems to want the whole competition....and Hunt does not seem to be improving for him.
