ASADA new policies

NRL players caught taking drugs can serve their ban between the hours of 11pm and 10am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

  • Players can serve bans 3 seconds at a time after each tackle.
  • Yep, the back-dated suspensions are a joke. The key detail is that it was the legal stalling processes by the players and their reps themselves that were a significant factor in delaying the suspensions. So all this whining about the tortuous process is like smacking yourself in the head then complaining how unfair it is you have these bruises. As an Olympian said, does it make any sense you're not culpable if some guy sticks a needle in you in a professional sport?
  • Yep, doesn't make sense.
  • Expensive lawyers. The kind of lawyer the sharks can't afford.
  • It might have to do with when the substances were added to the ASADA banned list.
