With Snakes early mail about Semi to the Broncos and the ensuing Fiji sojourn and the fact Novembers approaching and I haven't got a line on who I'm plumping for in the Melbourne Cup, it seems to be more of likelihood the big units off to the Broncos where the head of the football department isn't a fan of the sanctity of marriage( suffer like the rest of us you putz) and it's OK to transfer your saliva to women from a body length away.If I was a betting man and I am ( thanks Sir John Harkeood in the Metro and 8-1 fixed odds) I'd be inclined to think Boyd will move to the halves Semi to fullback and as a sweetener to the Eels so we don't blow up to Fairfax media as news limited would bin the story anyway Ben hunt would be offered to us at a reduced rate .This would be easy for the Broncos as Corey was on $2 mill a year at the Broncs the proof reader of his autobiography missed a zero. Easy to do ask that lady who missed placed the decimal point at Westpac in NZ a few years ago. So the Broncos would be in a position to pick up Semi paying out his entire contract while subsidising the majority of Hunts contract for 2017 enabling them to pick up Nappa and possibly Ryan James with a little to spare for an outside back.My hate for the Eagles and Dogs is entrenched but these blokes in the sunshine state are really starting to piss me off. As soon as they have a unpalatable season it seams they open up the purse strings and purchase a few internationals.I mentioned to a mate after they lost to the Cowboys you'll go alright next year if you get some rep players for your bench.Supporters the game over are off the favouritism the Broncos seem to get. It doesn't matter whether it's reality or not that's the perception and perceptions everything. I'll watch the off season with interest I have a feeling it's going to be a doozy.

  • Apologies for spelling and punctuation it's Epsom , Metropolitan day and the sauce is going down to well.
  • Yes, i hate the broncs just as much Bup, throw the roosters and the storm in that mix too.

    • I'd agree with that. How many years out of the last twenty has more than one of those sides missed th eight. Makes it worse.
  • Top teams i hate:

    Equal first: Broncos and Storm

    Next

    Moanly,Roosters, Bulldogs

    • I loathe Salary Cap Cheats that the NRL turns a blind eye to for their own gain.  Brisbane, Roosters, Dogs, Storm, Cowboys.  Playing field is far from level my friends.  But hey, we are the only team that apparently cheats the cap. Yeah right!

    • Yes you are right EE we are the only team that cheats. Brisbane and storm are victims due to our cheating. Maybe when they beat us or we beat them it cost them a spot to play in the grand final. They do everything by the rulebook. Cameron Smith & Corey Parker are the most fairest players in the game. They never do anything wrong. Smith kneed crocker in the back of the leg, crocker should have been sent off. While Parker headbutts a titans player. Why did he provoke Parker. Good role models for kids to look up to.
  • Throw Canberra into that mix too
  • On social media yesterday that Tuimoala Lolohea was at Red Hill yesterday (his own Instagram post). Seems like quite a few NRL players have reason to drop in and visit Wayne whilst in Brissy.
  • The nrl has no incentive to police the broncos. They make too much money for Nine, and until there is a second Brisbane team that won't change.
    • could not agree more. The NRL is not serious about teams who cheat.

"Well Ryles was adament, even after Smith debuted that he wanted a 2nd Hooker. Tried to get Brailey for a while.

"Da Silva is a potentially elite dummy half. He would already be on very good money, probably $600k+ and will eventually be taking the majority of minutes at dummy half. Perhaps as early as 2026. Smith might start every game but could end up only…"
