Are Parramatta the Nick Kyrgios of the NRL?

Nice post about Parramatta have talent, passion while also showing arrogance, sound similar to another Australian sporting personality? Practically saying we have the potential, talent, can stand up to the best there is yet are let down by nobody but themselves. A team that people love to hate as it proves their judgement right that they are not very good.

We've been saying it for years, this team is good enough but lose it themselves. Nick Kyrgios does this without a coach, we have a coach hahaha. An interesting point is how this team play with arrogance and sense of entitlement and this attitude costs them, that is on the coach in my opinion to keep their heads level and bringing in expectations. He is the one who talks to them and motivates them, if they are arrogant it comes for BA motivating them that way.

  • God i hope not. I mean I don't like this David guy who wrote the article now too. But I despise Kyrgios. Entitled little piece of ....

Admittedly I'm not much of a tennis fan but it was always so strange having someone like Ashy Barty who you could be proud to call Australian. Then on the other end of the scale you have Kyrgios. I mean honestly is he even any good at tennis? All i ever see is him making excuses. Like Ricky Stuart after a loss. Nothing is ever his fault. Then if they actually win it's singlehandly because of him, nothing to do with his coaching staff/team.

  • Hell no!
Nick Kyrgios Is an oxygen thief second only to that absolute flea Bernard Tomic.

    • There is no doubt Tomic is the biggest flog around, but Kyrgios is so damn talented. He reminds me as the Jarryd Hayne of tennis, so much god given talent but did nothing to be the greatest.

      • I agree LB.  I personally do not think our team is like Kyrgios but I do agree we have had players that act like him.   As for Hayne still shaking my head to this day.....Talent to burn ...If he had combined that with a work ethic ....could of been up with the greatest.  Wasted Talent and destroyed Legacy.

Thats what happens when you lourde sporting talent over building a persons character.

        • Imagine Hayne's talent with Finucane's committment?

          Would have been an immortal.

      • As someone who used to play a lot of tennis, I can see the talent Kyrgios has, his serve is awesome. It is a pity he was lauded in his youth, typical Greek boy, praised constantly by his mum. Damaged him, he should have had a regular kick up the arse.

  • Na. He actually got to the GF. That's two better than last 9yrs.

  • Journalist- don't boo JA it will hurt his feeling  and mental health

Also Journalist - Parramatta players are not likeable and self entitled (points out Moses by name)

  • I think it's quite possibly the most accurate summation of our team I've read thus far
