Can anyone of the commentators on here put on heart and say truthfully they know the machinations of our current salary cap situation? All speculation, leading to more speculation, assumption, ultimately all BS@
It's honestly not much harder than we have a couple vacant top 30 spots and some money to spend. It's not more complicated than that
Are we paying anything on RCG, Joe O and Gutho? No. They asked for a release.
Until we can offload some guys like Matto and Hands, we only have the 1 top 30 spot available. Now an interesting point here is that Hands apparently will remain with Toulouse if they are promoted to the Super League. They play York this weekend in the play-off final.

Wouldn't it be a case of new season new top 30 named regardless of who it included last year tho. Get Matto would be in and included due to his high salary, but Hands probably would slip out wouldn't he?
im just asking is top 30 based only on salary cost ? I mean if a player doesn't rank as highly as a newcomer does it then become a coaches decision as to who is included in top 30? I don't understand these rules.

This has been said repeatedly on this site but some people can't seem to understand it and still think we are paying freight for them.
The one that concerns me is TDS. Did we really pay 600k for him or is that pure speculation.

Seriously, how could a team with basically eight ir nine very early stage players be capable of being cap closed? I think it's total bs thst our cap position comes down to wether Lomax stays or goes!
How the hell does that make sense compare our sides established stars to others like broncos storm Penrith blabla...it us not at all possible that our cap is closed! Just coz it was reported so, don't mean that's real.
