Are forward passes ‘over-corrected’?

I’d say ‘under called’ in and around the ruck (a la Cam Smith, Robbie Farah) where an intentional advantage is gained, and overcalled in exciting backline plays because no one understands basic physics.

  • I agree.

Plenty of ruck passes are let go. But heaps of last passes that lead to tries are called forward.

However, RTS’s pass was forward. That Roosters one was not forward

    • Unless it’s Melbourne in a semi final against Parra lol. 2 of the try’s in 2017 were off 4m forward passes!!

  • The refs have no idea what a forward pass is. Lets face it they struggle to understand most of the game.

  • yes they are. refs are killing amazing skill and entertainment.
