Archer dissapointed for not winning referee of the year

it appears archer was not allowed in the contest because players are not eligible for the referee of the year award, judges had him at no.1 chance of winning but dismissed him as a contender after seeing the grand final and realising that he is clearly a player from the melbourne storm and not a referee , easy mistake.
