In this period of 'hard' times I'd like to see how many of these struggling households still run their air conditioners daily, still subscribe to Netflix and other like media content, still paying for the internet, have the most recent technology like phones etc etc.
Meanwhile to ease the pressure I can almost garuntee that none of these struggling households have even considered getting a second job for extra income or even considered selling their house in Sydney and relocating to somewhere more affordable.
It seems a lot of humans contribute to their own downfall and personally I don't think the government should be bending over backwards to help as much as they do.
ummmm, no John. In 2022 internet is not a luxury to be trummed in tough times.
In fact that whole comment is a steaming pile and you can fuck right off with that attitude.
Folks like you will be the first against the wall. I wonder if your last words would be "oh well, the market has spoken. I guess i brought this on myself".
You struggle to find a 'side" JB, you cannot be popular with everyone by trying to be something your not.
I am probably one of the most disliked on here because I speak my mind and usually take up the indefensible side once the "haters" have decided who they are going after and the sychophants follow.
Some people would like me to change to their way of thinking, but whilst I don't like being unpopular, I try to give alternate ways of looking at things....its interesting how some people like to think they are more likable by following the leaders.
I'm not so sure of that Mickey, after all you are the one with flowers through your hair......
I got over that in 1967 when Scot Mackenzie sang the song.....were you even born then ? Have a listen, you young blokes and the for the old ones, remember this?
Out of interest what culture s in history have been more content with their communities until insatiable materialism consciousness dominated the way we live our lives?
"Lies you hope its lies if it is as rumoured then it only confirms we are operating out of desperation have no belief in TuIvaiti or Morreti as competent replacements for Paulo.

100% agreed.
If you think average folks are living large at the moment then you need to stop double dosing on the OxyContin.
