Apologies for the season ahead (possibly)

With the silly season over and the team back on the training paddock (with the possibility of it being the toughest pre-season ever), attention now starts to shift to the start of the season and assessing how the team will fare.

Unfortunately there is a stat/event that spells an undesirable outcome is awaiting, the birth of my 3rd child. While I am very much over the moon having another addition to my family, the good fortune doesn't transfer onto the field.

I was born in 1986 (a great year, especially for PARRA fans), but that is where the clubs luck with me ends. I have my eldest born in 2013. It was to be an optimistic year given what we suffered in 2012 and thinking things couldn't get worse, but it did. My 2nd child was born in 2016, I will leave it at that. We were planning on another child in 2018, but complications/issues arose for it not to be. I now have my 3rd child due this year, with fortunes yet to be determined.

I am hopeful this year to be different, but do apologise to all my fellow fans and am happy to take the blame for the year ahead if it doesn't end favourable. And please be easy on me if so.

  • Congrats Rabz...  hope all goes well for the new Bub and that he/she gets to see the elusive parra premiership in years to come.  Hope the family stays safe and well through the pregnancy and covid.   Go eels.

    • Thanks mate, appreciate it.

I do hope so too, only 1 way to find out.

    • Slugg, that's very telling. Did you happen to recall doing a Faustian deal of sorts with that Ding-Ding witch who allegedly (obviously) cursed us?

    • Far from it mate, you got to witness 4 premierships as well as being born when the club came to be.

  • Great news, Rabz, on the new impending arrival! I wish you and your family all the best, buddy. 👍

    • Thanks mate, appreciate it.

Feel free to use me for the bad stats for the season ahead in your awesome pre-match analysis.

  • Congrats Rabz, adding a new addition to the  family is great news - no need to apologise the results are purely on BA! Lol All the best mate.

    • Thanks mate, appreciate it.

I'll be fine to take 1 for the team this year, we can fault BA from next year.

  • Numbers schmumbers

This kid, Rabz, this kid's gonna be a winner

    • I do hope so. This is her opportunity to get the golden child.
