Checked my ANZ seats this morning and we've been moved 2 aisles further away from half-way! Not happy at all, and really annoyed that I had to discover this for myself by logging into the website then the ANZ stadium site. Not much reward for loyally renewing Ken Thornett family tickets year after year...
I can see one hell of a shit fight coming on regarding seating allocation at ANZ.
To be fair, the logistics of having to transfer every member to a reciprocal or similar seat would have been an absolute nightmare.
Obviously, those same logistics have prevented your tickets and others from being seated exactly where you were at Pirtek. And it's worth remembering, the club has had to take into account pre-existing seating arrangements with ANZ when it comes to seating.
Some same or similar seating areas were likely already occupied by other fans from other teams, regardless of home or away games or even occupied by banners or special corporate areas at ANZ.
We'll be one of four teams to play a decent chunk of our home games there if not all, so the club has done its best with what has been presented to them across the board.
I'm not saying I agree with it at all, but I can understand how much time and effort it would have taken to have people as close as possible to their current seats at Pirtek whilst taking on board the vast array of external factors.
Additionally, there is the option to talk to the club about it and see what they say and whether you can be moved to an area that you feel more suited to and more comfortable with.
A full season GA family mship next season is $390?
Putty that a good saving mate; I agree that you could do better. I guess they hope we do keep membership for other reasons to. We are back row of Thornett so we better be undercover....
