ANZ Stadium seating

I have been allocated ANZ seats for 2017 that are different from where we were previously sitting at ANZ and am endeavouring to find out whether they are under cover (as were our seats at Parra stadium) I have the aisle number row number and seats but the interactive seating plan does not appear to show the actual seats just the aisle number so I can't see whether they are under cover. Am I doing something wrong any ideas. I know there is a fan day at the stadium on 20 Novemer but not sure we can make it .

  • Checked my ANZ seats this morning and we've been moved 2 aisles further away from half-way! Not happy at all, and really annoyed that I had to discover this for myself by logging into the website then the ANZ stadium site. Not much reward for loyally renewing Ken Thornett family tickets year after year...

    • I can see one hell of a shit fight coming on regarding seating allocation at ANZ.

    • To be fair, the logistics of having to transfer every member to a reciprocal or similar seat would have been an absolute nightmare.

Obviously, those same logistics have prevented your tickets and others from being seated exactly where you were at Pirtek. And it's worth remembering, the club has had to take into account pre-existing seating arrangements with ANZ when it comes to seating.
Some same or similar seating areas were likely already occupied by other fans from other teams, regardless of home or away games or even occupied by banners or special corporate areas at ANZ.

We'll be one of four teams to play a decent chunk of our home games there if not all, so the club has done its best with what has been presented to them across the board.

I'm not saying I agree with it at all, but I can understand how much time and effort it would have taken to have people as close as possible to their current seats at Pirtek whilst taking on board the vast array of external factors.

Additionally, there is the option to talk to the club about it and see what they say and whether you can be moved to an area that you feel more suited to and more comfortable with.

  • No one says you have to accept the allocation, apply for different ones
  • Also did you know a general admission family ticket at ANZ is around $42 and parra was around $100. $42 x 13 games = $546 which is cheaper then the membership which is supposed to be discounted! So not really sure there is value I. Membership over the next two years? It's not as if you won't get a seat is it ?
    • Think they said something about giving you a few extra games as a " bonus " , so for instance if it's a Canterbury home game @ ANZ they'll include that as one of your free entries . They'll probably stick ya behind the posts however as Canterbury members would have your usual seats .
    • A full season GA family mship next season is $390?

    • Putty that a good saving mate; I agree that you could do better. I guess they hope we do keep membership for other reasons to. We are back row of Thornett so we better be undercover....

    • I've been there during regular season when it's pissed down and they didn't let anyone up to the top level . They blamed lack of cleaners to accomodate the extra cleaning of rubbish .
    • I got row 24. Eff that. First world problems.
