Hi folks,
Has anyone here watched a game from a 'catered box' at ANZ stadium? If so, under what circumstances? I know regular Joe off the street can't just buy a private box online (?) and that they are generally reserved for sponsors and other special guests. I think the minimum is 8 people and it goes up from there. I've been having trouble finding prices online, though one price I found for 8 people was over 2k.
Just wondering, as I may have an opportunity to get one for a game later in the year. I'll need to put some money into it, so wanted to get an idea of what people reckon (is it worth it and how much would you spend on a box?). I wont be expecting the Eels to win, but I reckon it could be a great experience and even better if we do win! Also does anyone know what the 'fully catered' includes? Do I get better food and beer all included or what?
Thanks everyone for your comments !

I've been in a "Zone Box" which are the outdoor boxes. Don't get one of them. They don't include any food/drinks, all you get is a good viewing seat in which case you may as well just buy category 1 tickets. I'm sure a catered box would be much better. Just steer clear of the zone box when buying it, unless you add food/drinks to it.
Awesome, thanks guys. It doesn't specify which kind of box, except that it's catered and suggests it's a nice box. Just wanted to check if it was worth it, though it sounds like it is. ANZ is a pretty decent stadium, so I suspected the privet boxes wouldn't be too sh*t (at least the ones inside)
I have been recently to the GF in a full catered box on half way line.
Dont know how much it cost (corporate gig), but the range of food included:
- Fish burger sliders,
- Noodle / Pasta boxes
- Finger fried foods, gourmet pies and s/rolls.
- Dessert platter.
- Beers: James Boags (the only I can remember), but it would be only Lion Nathan beers since they are the sponsors to the ground.
Food and drinks wise, it was 1 10/10 experience and did not disappoint.
Awesome. That makes sense with the drinks sponsor. I've worked at events previously where we'll have someone like Coopers, and then Pale Ale has been the only available beer. On a side note, I think XXXX is the only beer they have at Pirtek stadium.
Wow, thanks so much for that insightful answer Wizards Sleeve! That really gives me a good idea about the differences with boxes and suites
If your forking out your own cash, Suite is the only good option if you want the experience that is.
1. Food is decent.
2. Service is excellent.
3. Viewing is excellent.
4. You can go inside on cold nights.
5. Chat with celebs in your suite or next door.
6. The suite is especially great when we play souths, there is enough distance from them that you don't have to smell them, yep they all smell.
7. SOO in a suite is the best footy experience ever.
He's alright, they had him and Sonia on the footy show doing perfect partners.
The question was something like least or favourite body part, so Sonia comes out with David always says 'it might be short, but it's thin', funny guy.
