  • Soz ME, been out all day and just watching it now on Fox, just pointing out inconsistancies in the rules, a player can hold someone back yet get sin binned but another player can drop a shoulder on a player already on the ground and just get penalised

    • Daz the bloke on the ground surrendered without being touched, Burgess had every right to belt him imo

  • Darren you must be caught in some sort of time warp, are you ok son?

    • arrrhh its just a jump to the left and a step to the right, right?

  • fark cant a guy be out earning a decent dollar and come home and watch the footy? soz again for not been a couch potato today lol

  • yeah true but to drop a shoulder like he did?

    • It might have looked a tad aggressive and it was but im sick of seeing these backs surrendering on the ground in their own 10m, so im all for them getting belted Daz.

      • yeah but it just sh!ts me to what happened to Norman, to be binned for his infringement at a critical part of the game yet a shoulder charge like Burgesses doesnt warrant it. why dont refs penalise players that surrender?

        • i shits me to tears that the refs have stopped acting on players that surrender without being touched, they went through a phase where they did, then they stopped, the opposition players should just stand there and not touch him point at him and look at the ref.

You are spot on, theres no consistency across the board, its all over the shop like a mad womans shit.

  • Now there's a good point Darren. If he did not attempt to wrap an arm around him, technically it is a shoulder charge and should be put on report.

"I did modern day as 1998 onwards as I didn't see them play, as some here haven't. Where I believe majority of people here have seen all the modern day players play.
Plus it frees up some spots like we all know who 5/8 will be but now no idea."
