  I don't think Shack did end up playing again Phil, but based on the footage of him that was shown on the Eels website in relation to the run that the players had to do, the 8k run, he seems to be running fine, and seems to be over his hamstring injury.

  Reports that i recieved from other players was that he was really putting in in the gym during his time off the field so i think he will be super keen to finally get back on the field in 2011.

  HE didnt play at all after his injury but your rite Eugene shaks spent most of his time in the gym he is a massive human. I think he will fire for us next year this kid can play. very tuff boy we missed him this year.

  Great bloke too, we had him at fairfield united back when i was there he was playing C grade and A grade. He was a bit skinny back then compared to now but he had something about him that you knew he was better than that level so we got Goshn who was coaching sydney bulls to have a look at him and from there he went to the roosters.

    Westfields boy good to see . I also went to westfields sports same year as former parramatta centre mic beutner.

    I coached there for about 7yrs, i coached/trained Nathan Gardner for 7yrs. Eugene is not my name i just used it when i opened my account on 1eyed eel.
    
    Shacks played Harold Mats at another club i cant remember which one before he came to United.
