Anyone else not 100% sold on us making the finals?

I'll preface this by saying our form the last 6 weeks has been exceptional. However, if you look how close the ladder is, who were competing for the bottom 8 stops with and how we have the hardest run home of any side, I'm not completely sold on us making the finals.

for example south's currently sit in 9th, we will need to win most and win them well

  • Did you watch NQ and Melbourne last night? Plus Cronulla? They will all beat each other.

I am 90-95% sure they make it, tonight might change my percentage. Plus you say win them well, we currently have top 2 points differential. I think wait til we face both NQ and Melbourne before questioning it

    • We are 4th in points differential.

  • We make finals. Last week loss really hurts making the 4

    • It does hurt but again all of the 8 are fighting each other in the last 7-8 weeks, with a bye up our sleeve top 4 ain't out of the question. If we lose tonight then i think top 4 is done. But winning tonight is key as that is all we need to do. Though i would love for us to put 50 or so on, which is possible against this GC defence, plus the whole Tino activating the clause to look elsewhere might distract them, we need to make a statement.

      • Yeah agree mate. I didn't think we'd make the 4 back end of last year and we did with the storm falling away very quickly. Looking at our games we really need to beat the storm and broncos away from home.
Beating the cowboys next week in Queensland will be very hard and Penrith in Penrith will be big challenge 2nd last week. The game we should and must win are tonight's game, Roosters and dragons

        • Had we beaten say Melbourne in Round 1 golden point we would be 6th with a chance to get into top 4 tonight. Had we beaten say Cronulla in round 2, we could've finished 3rd tonight. That is close.

We beat GC, NQ and Melbourne then St. George at home? I say guarenteed 8 with a top 4 chance. We lose tonight top 4 is done and 8 is getting harder but can still make it. We win then i think we are dangerous.

  • Nothing's guaranteed, but if we play our best we will be there.

    • I reckon we put 30-40 on titans tonight. The kings had 2 weeks off, the boys will remember what happen last time we played them and watching the titans last week they suck

      • The Titans have got points in them, they won't be easy.

        • Away from home , their captain has decided to shop himself around.

Fifitas being heavily pursued by Canberra,Coach was sacked , players backing up after origin, weakened bench through injury .All played out in the media.

The rest of the playing squad are unlikely to be buying in to the clubs direction even though their a chance of finals.

This will be a thrashing , aside from outside controls like refereeing and potential injuries doing us in i can see us crack a half century today.
