Parra strong favouritesBulldogs lose 2 forwardsBulldogs out of formThis has the makings of a bad loss for us because we have struggled to win when we are strong favourites.

  • It's a must win.
A loss would mean we need 5 and 3 from the remaining 8 and that won't happen.
    • Dont we have a bye taking us to 20 points, and there are 8 games left, meaning 4 from 4. if we win that will be 3 and 5

    • 28 won't be enough with our weak for and against.
  • If we win this we may have turned the corner
  • Yep.

I never like it when our players are talking it up prior to a game, plus a bye can be good, but also not so good.

Should be an interesting game. Can't wait.

    GO YOU EELS!

  • I think that they will be able to handle this. It was not a huge break, 11 days they will be refreshed and there is a lot of resolve now in the halves with game management. Based on the last game against the Dragons there is an ability to manage the team thru the game so I am not too concerned.

This is however a game we must win otherwise we are in a situation where we must beat a top 4 team to be sure of making the 8.

  • If we are good enough we will be ok....
  • On the contrary, I have a really good feeling about this one, I am predicting a big score from us tonight 46-6 and I have never ever made a statement like this and ended up looking stupid with egg on my face.EVER!
  • Getting on the train in half an hour & heading down Parra by 16
  • I think we'll be up for this. And I think we'll win well.

Smith indeed is some special and I can see him defo being a rep player.

"Start Samrani either centre or wing. He smashed the sharks and the chooks. Was fast, tackle-busting and once he set his eyes on the try line it was curtains for the opposition.
I'd start him on the wing as not to disrupt Rusty and the combos set up…"
