Hey all, a few of you at various junctures have asked if there is anything you can do to contribute to the ParraFirst campaign. If anyone is interested in handing out flyers over the weekend (and they could also do with another scrutineer but you'd have to miss the game) can you please let me know. Email me at philipsim@gmail.com (and let me know who you are on the site as well - please use your site email so I can verify it).
But first just a heads up. By all reports some of the other tickets have been quite aggressive in their campaigning. Steve and the other ParraFirst candidates has been copping it and there are people out there deliberately trying to provoke a reaction. If you're out there representing ParraFirst, we need you to just ignore it and keep on smiling. Given the level of desperation that some seem willing to stoop to, we need cool heads.

Cool heads. Well that rules out 95% on here. :)
You said it mate! I'll put myself in that 95%.
Just embarrassing to know that some candidates are trying to provoke others. Aren't they aware that other people can see the aggressive body language?
Some candidates need to be a bit more strategic in the way they think and behave. I'm just waiting for the fraudulent claims that 'so and so did x, y or z' whilst they forget that their every move is caught on the Leagues Club cameras. Yep, cameras inside and outside the club.
Someone overestimates Hadley's influence methinks.
Feel bad that I can't volunteer, as it's very important to fulfil the role of assisting all voters to properly cast their votes. Distance precludes me but I urge members to take part. It's that important!
