  • I just want to express my sincere pride in the club for the committment they showed to the fans this week.

I was at the Leagues club after the game. The scenes were magic. Pricey and Guru Snr there and were more than happy to have photos and autographs! Nathan Rees too.. he even played the bongos. I met Luke Burt and he was ever so polite and more than happy to have a photo with me, even though I was dressed up like Super Todd, with a cape and blue hair!

Monday was even better. So many people turned out to see the boys and they stood and signed autographs and posed for photos, even though you could tell many of them were very disappointed. I also got my photo with Todd Lowrie, who was so happy to see me wearing my Todd Lowrie shirt.

Everyone was just happy and so proud of what the boys achieved! I am so proud to be a Parramatta fan!
    • Mary I know you are a passionate Todd fan.
I hope your allegiances don't shift to the Storm - LOL
You are always very articulate & polite.
      I enjoy reading your comments.

Whilst I have not always been a Todd fan, I do believe that he contributed a lot more in the back end of the season & in some of the finals games. I wish he had've been able to get that grubber into the in goal area to give us another set late into the game. That could've been the difference. Todd could've been a hero. (In saying that I don't blame Todd, he is not our kicker. Lucky he was there cause no one else was)

Looking at the side for 2010, I would prefer to have Todd in the side. I still think Todd can develop. Storm are getting a good buy here. I think we are one forward short & one back too many.

At the end of day, I am sorry to see Todd leave.
      • As much as I am a passionate Todd fan, I am even more of a passionate Eels supporter. I got to say goodbye and wish him luck and I will adopt another player over the off season to call my own!

He did do very well in the later part of the season and I am just sorry that it took so long for him to show how well he could play! The Storm are lucky to be getting the Todd. :-)

P.S. Thankyou for calling me polite, I always aim to be!
  • With people saying that we are 1 back too many and a forward short, that is because Daniel Anderson is intending to use Joel Reddy in the backrow, i actually think it would be a masterstroke...
  • Yep it a dam shame he is going but it was not just Todd, other players were guilty of leaving their best perfomances till the last three or so months of this year if he keeps this form reversal up, he will be a great aquisition for the Storm
  • how would reddy be a masterstroke in the backrow?

i wouldve though grothe would be a much better option, considering the countless number of times he has been caught out on his wing. that and he obviously is twice as big and strong as young reddy
    • I have to say I don't get this whole, move Reddy to the backrow crap.

He is not big enough for a backrower. Our pack is already one of the smallest, albeit one of the more mobile, but Reddy was exceptional for us in the centres and that is where he should stay.
