  • I think it's up for mention tomorrow. We'll know more tomorrow arvo.

    • Cheers

  • He will plead guilty tomorrow being Wednesday. Due to pressure from the NRL sacked by the club on Thursday. Signed by the Roosters on Friday. Plays against Manly on Sunday.

    • And gets dropped for Jake on monday

  • It will either settle out of court, charges dropped, be thrown out due to lack of or quality of evidence or will be adjourned to a later date. The latter is worst out come for us as if that happens he will be out for the year. The other three options are good options as he would be free to play the Warriors. I am not going to say which is likely as i just do not know, nor would many people.

It is a big day for our season, as i do think we can still win without Brown, it is a hell of a lot easier with him there.

    • Why? ASI has been doing just fine. It isn't the end of the world!

      • I just said we can still win with Asi, but Brown would make it easier as he is a better overall player.

    • He won't be able to play the Warriors as he hasn't been named

  • I hope they sort something out before it even gets into court. The obvious thing would be to take the slap on the wrist, pay the fine and move on. At least he is back on the field, as I'm sure the NRL can't stand him down if there are no matters pending.

My partner believes he should fight it if he is innocent, as he may become a registered sex offender if he pleads guilty. But is it worth sitting out for over a year if that is the case? Just hope they come to some arrangement or it's thrown out.

If Hayne had thrown some $$$ at that lady in Newcastle, he probably isn't in jail right now. I'd be doing the same here as I'd reckon this was the motive behind it.

    • Hayne's case is a little more serious than Brown's case. It can be settled a bit easier if the victim wants to go down that route.
