I never expected South Sydney to actually be doing so well in 2018. I had never heard of Anthony Seibold prior to his new coaching job at South Sydney! So I looked on Wikipedia and he has some interesting credentials and is actually very well educated. I personally think he’s doing a great job at South Sydney this year considering it’s his first NRL coaching job. In comparison to our Eels coach Brad Arthur who I did once have high hopes and expectations of but he’s left nothing but a bitter taste in my mouth and watching the Eels this year I would have to conclude that this is undoubtedly the worst Eels side I’ve seen in many, many years and I’m convinced more than ever that Fong and Snake were correct and that Brad Arthur has fooled us all into attempting to convince us fans he knows what he’s doing when he actually doesn’t. So now the question remains: who wins Siebold or Arthur?

I think it speaks volumes for rookie coaches. The oldies are done. That's why we can't bring in a Hasler or Toovey.

He’s not just a good coach but an obviously well educated man and is bringing out the best in the South’s team. That’s what the Eels need a decent coach to infuse and inspire the players and who knows what he’s talking about.
