Another win thrown away

Please pass this message onto the Board and coach Brad ArthurAnother match thrown away, just like v Tigers the first time, Warriors at Pirtek, and the horrendous collapse v Cowboys.I cannot take it any more!I though about coming to today's match v Raiders but the weather and poor health deterred me.I sat through it on tv in anguish for most of the match.The team served up the same old ill disciplined performance that they have displayed all yeare.g Ridiculous penalties, one of which by Morea and another led directly to Croker's first try.Poor decisions such as Kelly kicking out on the full.Lack of using their brains in defence-two tries directly by Raiders players scoring from dummy half when our players went to sleep or were not even there to defend.And so on it goes.Brad-- do you talk to players about all these stupid penalties and errors?Do consistent offenders face any sanctions?If not why not?I did not attend any matches this year, mainly due to poor scheduling and poor health, but also to the fact that I had little confidence that I would watch a well coached team playing consistently well.Next year brings a few good quality players to the team and others returning from injury.Time is up.Either the team makes the top 8, or the coach and Gentlemen of the Board need to step down.Please let us be in the top 8.Go the Eels

Yes, because that's worked so well for us the last time...or the time before that...or the time before that.

How about we try a new approach of NOT throwing the baby out with the bathwater and give the team, coach and admin a few seasons to continue to grow? Remember we were down Hayne for this season, most had us as spoon contenders, and we were ravaged by injuries.

BA has said one of our main issues is we can't close out games - it's being worked on. Next year, like every year, let's aim for the premiership and see where we land. I definitely see us as team that should be around 6-9 on the table by the end of next year, and hopefully pushing even higher the next year. Premierships take time to grow a squad, and they take a bit of luck too - this year we had neither. Let's give these guys a good chance. I've seen enough this year to keep the faith.

We currently have a mixture of inexperience and players that are not nrl standard. The question is how did we get in to this position ,at a guess I would say we got here because of our endless rotation of coaches the last thing we need is to move another coach on.
I think BA is building a fantastic team and should be left to coach the team and a premership will come.

  The answer? Ricky Stuart killed a bunch of mid-term contracts and lost us players and cap space, we lost our marquee player at late notice to another code, and we have a lot of key players injured or suspended for very long periods of time (or indefinitely).
  
  With the players we've had on the park we've often outperformed expectations this year.
  
  I agree with you about the team building, I think we're heading in the right direction overall. This season and last season have given reasons to have some hope that we've turned a corner.

That had nothing to do with BA. He's not the won missing tackles and falling for dummies. He's not the won that doesn't know how to close out a game

  Neither does any other coach, but the noose claims all the failed coaches. It a performance based occupation - win or look for another job, that simple.
  
  Good coaches can get a mediocre squad to perform, poor coaches do the same things week in, week out and then blame the squad, injuries, refs or board. The verdict is still out on Super Coach.
  
  Time for BA to start showing the fans he has some clue - don't hold your breath.

Feel shit about today .....BUT we are on the improve. Plus we are getting top shelf recruits. If we have decent luck with injuries and can tighten our discipline, we are close. As y'all know, to be a Parra supporter you need to be insane, but be patient, it is coming.

  Storm. Most EXPERTS predicted them to fall away badly this year, including many on here.
  
  Take away Smith and Cronk and the rest are really only slightly better than average players, and here they are sitting in the top 4. Take Mann, Bromwich, Hinchcliffe, Duffie or Fanoua and put them in Parra jerseys and lets see how they go.
