Another season gone.

What an absolute load of tripe served up  last night. I only lasted to half time, I knew they wouldn`t come back, watched the olympics instead at least they are trying.

I have been reluctant to slam the coach, but he does not have any clue about coaching in the NRL. The club won`t sack him, it took the club 10 years to realise Brian Smith wasn`t cutting it, BA has had 8 years and only a wooden spoon. Getting into the finals is only acceptable if you have won something in recent history. I suggest older fans get the videos out and relive the glorious 80s and the younger fans need to look after their health to live long enough to see a premiership, good luck with that.

The forwards are being trained to grab and hold the ball carrier they dont even attempt to throw him to the ground. The fans` motm last week was dropped last night, young Arthur is too slow, Blake must have some dirt on the staff, he never gets dropped. Everyone looks disinterested even the King is less enthusiastic.

I find it interesting that the game after the bye MM sat out and was ballboy running and bending to pick up the tee on the sideline but mysteriously had a back injury from the SOO the next week.

I suspect Fergo and Moses were dropped for speaking out about the gameplans, etc.

Christ knows when we see the eels in a GF   don`t hold your breath

  • I thought exactly the same thing about Mitch Moses in regards to a back injury but still running and being a ball boy. Its a bit sus

    • It's a good point when you think about it, you would think Moses would have been wrapped up in cotton wool.

      Scott

      • It might not hurt bending and moving. Some of these injuries only tend to hurt with contact rather than movement.

        • Yep spot on. I had bone stress in my fibular before and because that part of the bone isn't weight bearing for the most part I could do everything pain-free, but if I got a tap to that side of the leg the pain was immense.

Zero conspiracy theory here. If Moses wasn't injured he'd be playing.

          • Exactly right Captain.

I highly doubt BA would sideline Moses for disciplinary reasons or to give his son more game time.

  • I feel your pain Eels fans. The thing lacking is everybody has to be consistently good week in week out. No exception and not easy. I thought Eels were awesome against Titans and better without Moses bombing every set. Last night  was painful to watch. Just because they beat Storm(s) I like it once doesn't make you a contender for the GF. Every team is in the same boat. Dogs and Broncos have produced some of the best games this year. BA giving his son a red hot go and contract is deplorable.  Eels are on par with a few teams and where there is life there is hope. I would have liked to see Rankin from Tigers get a go. He  scored a few good ones there.
