I'm very pleased with the Eels gritty but ugly win against the Dragons away from Bankwest Stadium and the 2nd Eels win at Jubilee in last 7 years. However, it was clearly overshadowed with some ridiculous and diabolical refereeing decisions. Why was Manu put on report for a high shot but Sims wasn't on his high shot on Gower? Why was Blake called back from running a possible length of the field to score for a knock on that wasn't? Why was the Dragons try allowed when it was an obvious knock on when viewed from the bunker? Why was Evan sent to the bin for 10 minutes for a high shot that wasn't a high shot? The referee did everything he could to get the Dragons back into the game. Another disgraceful refereeing display.

Agree with everything you say Monto, i was blowing up big time on all these decisions, my missus was calling me bias but they would have played out differently with any other team involved, the refs did everything possible to keep the Dragons in the game. At the end of the day it was a great gutsy win by the Eels and well deserved.
Yeah I was blowing up too. But the missus wasn't calling me biased because last week I was going on about how the refs were on our side. We just call it how it is us Parra fans.
Honestly think there will be a sack for that Evans call and sin bin... if they were sacked for last week split second decision, this was far worse. Wonder if it and sin bin call was made from the bunker.
the ref wasn’t in position to see
The commentators were even surprised at the sin bin call and the high tackle call and looking at the replay it clearly was neither. Totally wrong and bad call.
Once the penalty was awarded and put on report they had no choice but to sin bin Evans because the rules are that if a player is put on report for foul play and the opposition player has to leave the field and can not return then the sin bin is to be used.
Oh thanks HK. But surely they have the power to overrule a mistake in the first place? The guys head hit tall evans’ chest . Glad it worked out ok for us but could’ve been very costly and just was so unprofesh!
I thought the same at first but pretty sure one replay showed Evans shoulder making contact with the head, evans didn't really do anything wrong but it is the defenders responsibility to not make contact with the head, i will not be surprised if he gets suspended.
Nah the club should fight that one. No way that’s a suspension...Mau on the other hand :(
you dont know the rules HKF you make shit up as you go.
If his should hit the player front on its not the defenders fault as it isnt a shoulder charge nor a swinging up. The fool ducked lost his feet and got a good old beating and on the way down hit his head. Play on all day. The refs wanted a close game hence the diabolical calls. Todays refs were far worse than last week. Again if the refs make the right calls without interference from idiots in the idiot boxes we could have won this game by plenty with confidence the score would be reflective of maybe 24-30 point win. Not a 12-4 finish.
Do you require a step by step guide to points and the overall impact it has on the rest of the game.
Blake scores its 16 Nil We get the ball back and could have gone on with it.
Instead they give us a scrum feed. Why??? did we knock on no... Did they yes then WTF was that call.
Same for the try to them, if that wasnt a knock on I am blind its clear as day he taps it forward into parra shoulder rebounds by 10 meters and they score. at 16 nil we get the ball and momentum. They had the ball for the next 15 mins so there is no juice left for jennings to run 90 and score. At that point it could be 22 nil and the cheap penalty was a professional foul we take 2 but no sin binning. Hashley Klien and Henry both should be rapped in plastic and thrown into the bay.
So anyone put on report in the last 10 minutes takes an early shower?
