THE man who holds the key to Jarryd Hayne playing for the Parramatta Eels next year is none other than Newcastle Knights centre Nathan Ross.
The Knights have offered ‘Ross Dog’ permission to negotiate elsewhere and possibly find an opportunity in the UK Super League.
If this was to happen, the Knights would sign former Origin centre Michael Jennings from Parramatta which in turn would free up the space in the Eels’ salary cap for Hayne.

The Knights are carefully balancing their roster which is why they can’t sign Jennings while Ross remains at the club. What is left in their cap is earmarked for forwards, not centres.
Whether Hayne is prepared to wait for Ross Dog to determine his future remains to be seen.
Id rather Jennings than hayne personally.
Jennings going on the 2018 form.is way, way past it! Hayne is far superior than Jennings. Sanctions will come.
I think it was just a bad year for him. If you took Jennings 2017 form and compared it to hayne he is a better center outside back in the complete sense. Hayne might offer a little more in attack but has poor reads in defence at centre or wing. I think having an edge which has poor reads like that becomes a target every game and your just not winning much .. just my opinion
Stay where you are then Ross Dog.
keep calm and just wait 2 weeks for the announcement of hayne signing a 2 year deal worth 600-700k.
Is that just a blind hope of do you know something we don't ibby ?
i know that they agree to giving him the money its just a matter of if we an free up 600k-700k... there trying to offload jennings, taka or french.
