I realise posting this is going to give ammunition to the haters, but thought people might be interested to know that Jorge Taufua has been named this week for Manly, so will make a return to Parramatta Oval.
Jorge actually got into the 17 for the Dragons game, but didn't actually get onto the field so nice to see that he's back there again this week
He's a Wenty junior, who played with us through to his first NYC year, switched to Manly last year and impressed enough playing centres there, that he's been on the fringe of the NRL squad the entire year before breaking through these last couple of weeks.
From what I understand, he wanted to stay in the centres but the club told him that if he wanted a future at Parramatta it would be in the forwards, so he looked elsewhere and ended up at Manly.

When you say "the club told him", can you clarify who?
Was it Reddy, Osborne, Nolan or SK?
It was pre-Nolan/Kearney but I don't know specifically any more than that.
At the time, Taufua wasn't getting a crack at centre at all even in our NYC team. Where he was getting a game, he was on the wing and both Jacob Loko and Trent Jennings got pushed up above him from SG Ball. I think he actually played a few games for Wenty on the wing at the back end of that season.
every week a junior scores a hat trick against us!
Ash Graham, Etu Usaile, now either Taufua or David "Wolfman" Williams are odds on favourite to score the next hatrick!!
Unfortunately Wolfman is on the wrong wing - it'll be Lyon especially as he's up against Esi "run infield 30m to tackle no one" Tonga. I doubt Lyon will have a hand laid on him all game.
He has but he has the options in his favour for the next 2 years. So he can negotiate with other clubs for next season still.
Hey Phil
I think it would be far more difficult to find a team that does NOT have a Parra / Wenty junior in it.
To go along with:
Gardner
D. Williams
Reddy
Wright
Graham
Maloney
Hodkinson
Gallen
Buehrer
Mateo
T. Williams
Hinchcliffe
C. Armit
That's what one would call a fair football side. Throw in Kingston, Galuvao and Lowrie for good measure.
Ho hum....
