Well, we did it. What a win.But it's not over yet.Worst case scenario for us this round (if we win) is this:Round 25We beat the Panthers, but only by a few points.Broncos beat CowboysManly beats SharksTigers beat TitansKnights beat RaidersIf this happens, we remain in 8th place with Tigers 1 points behind and Panthers 2 points behind on a better Points differential.Then we HAVE to beat the Dragons in the last round or we risk either the Tigers or Panthers leapfrogging us.If we lose to the Panthers, we'd have to hope it is by not very much and we'd have to pray they were smashed by the Knights in the last round and the Tigers by the Bulldogs (more likely).Then again, the best case scenario:We smash the Panthers by 40Broncos, Knights, Tigers and Manly lose?We are in 5th place with a round to go.If we then lost to the Dragons and then Manly, Newcastle and Brisbane all win, we'd drop to 8th.Luckily the Panthers play the Knights, so one of them has to lose. (A draw would keep us in)It's confusing, but I really think we'll finish around 6th or 7th. It's the time of year where anyone can win and I reckon there will be upsets (ie Sharks over Sea Eagles, or Raiders winning at home)Still, at least our fate is in our hands. We win both games, and we're in. Fullstop. Could even finish up 4th and get a home semi!Mick
