So without going into details, I've had a pretty rough couple of weeks personally and to be honest, the site has been the last thing on my mind, but having just gotten back to Sydney, I've had a few messages in my inbox, that I believe warrant my annual reminder at this time of year that off-season does not represent a free-for-all. A few of you have messages in your inbox re: interpersonal bans (ie Fong, Grunta). During the off-season, we allow the site to cover a broader spectrum of topics, but that does not mean it becomes a place for a couple of members to use the site to continually hurl abuse at each other. It becomes boring very quickly for everyone else, and I don't have the energy or the will right now to moderate it, so it's far easier for me to just remove those causing the issues.

I'd expect nothing else, Col. Again, it's just the abuse between members which gets over the top when people get bored, that I'm asking for people to pull in.

Well said. Is this the same as the last lot of interpersonal bans issued, that resulted in nothing too? I know one mod that left the site because, he would not get supported when he acted and applied the code of conduct to people. Either have the rules and apply them fairly to EVERYONE, or they are not rules and thus the site has the problems that it has today. In saying that Phil, I know you try to be fair. Hell you gave me a second chance and I thank you for that. I agree that people deserve a chance but IMO at present, moderation of the site is almost non existent.

Jesus you blokes, give the fella a break will ya - I don't know what Phil's alluding to but sometimes in life there are things that are more important than some fucking football website. Give the bloke a break - it's the Australian thing to do.
If, for whatever reason, you hate the site and can't stand the way it's being run don't come here.
If anyone here told me they were having a bit of a rough trot I wouldn't be putting shit on them at that time about something they've obviously put a lot of time and effort into in the past.
