Cartwright was playing fine in the position and doing his job while being a much more creative player then Davey. I'm not going to say Cartwright is amazing he has his defensive issues, but Davey tackled air multiple times in the first half.

Davey was actually pretty soiid but should be used as a middle off the bench.
Cartwright has been great starting on an edge but the club in its infinite wisdom goes and buys a bum from the dogs who was a bench player for them and starts him.

Davey seems like a good guy but getting parachuted in over players that were playing well hurts team morale.. We don't need back rowers we need 3 quarters asap. I don't understand why you change a winning team. Our forwards were so dominant last week. Why change? Our defense has been poor on the edges for 10years. We lack leadership in the face of adversity.

Murchie, Doorey or Cartwright should be on the edge instead of Davey.
Signing Davey was a blunder but starting him over these three guys was a monumental fuck up by our clueless coach.
Agreed. Also, Matterson is great on the edge.
Matterson on the edge is the best for our defense and also allows Ogden to be on the bench and continue the power game through the middle that the coach talked about pre game
