Anderson claims Mortimer hit missile-like

The Sam Tagataese hit they rubbed Daniel Mortimer out of the game and which threatens his return for the mammoth Bulldogs clash, was slammed by Eels coach Daniel Anderson yesterday. "I'm pretty upset about that. I've had numerous discussions with the referees about kick pressure this year because I've thought in the Origin series that the kickers were getting collected," Anderson told AAP. "I know Samuel (Tagataese) pretty well from New Zealand but he was a missile. He had his arms beside him, he didn't go for a tackle and he took out a player. "It doesn't matter who it was, whether it was a young bloke or not, he took him out and to have nothing done is disappointing.

    That was wrong. To not even result in a penalty was ridiculous... that sort of thing has been penalised all season.

    total bullshit it was a cheap shot. daniels only a small bloke and sam ran in with every intention to smash him he should of got sent off

      No. No send offs in the finals. On report or sin-binned, penalty try, anything but don't fuck the game up by making 13 play 12 .
