Worked at Suncorp as a roadie a few years back when Cold Play played. Big Stadium. Especially where the boneyard is (that's where they keep steel works)...did you know that Suncorp is built on a graveyard and it's haunted? True story.
Not sure when tickets go on sale but I'll see you guys there. Already got my weeks leave from work approved and I can't wait. Someone blogged elsewhere that they will be at the Caxton before the game which is where I'll be. Not sure what our record is against the broncos at suncorp but we seem to do ok much to the dissapointment of my mates who go for the boncos/qld (haha). Go the eels!!!
I'll be there mate, can't wait! I usually just get tickets at the gate. This was taken last year when we beat them at Suncorp, I love the dejected looks on all the Gronks supporters faces!
Yeah mate it's nuts... there's usually more Parra supporters there than Broncos. Always a ripper night.
I just drive up from the Gold Coast so I've never had to stay anywhere, but Caxton street before and after the game is where you want to be in regards to nightlife. I suppose if you stay anywhere around there you're in the right spot :)
Just to let those know who havent been there. Dont expect to buy tickets in the away section on game night. Last year I know a few who left it til the day and ended up in the nose bleed seats on the opposite side to the away area.
Lots of atmosphere in the away area (esp when we win), so very very popular and seats can be difficult to get.
Suncorp definitely my fav place to watch a Parra match outside of Pirtek. It's the one place where you get a really decent sized group of Eels fans all sitting together and atmosphere is awesome! Plus you get to meet some of our Qld brethren, like Dan!
"Broncos just have star power all over, we need to force them to make mistakes in order to beat them. Is a possibility hell yeah is it likely maybe not. Their forwards probably will have so much leverage over ours. Will be scary one brother."
"Snottie, you've hit the nail on the head.
Barnett is probably signing the last contract of his career, and he's never won a comp. His choices are the defending premiers, who get all the advantages in the world to stay successful, or Parramatta. …"

fark that looks amazing!
I think there will be atleast 10-15 of us travelling up (if everyone ends up saying yes)
as for accommodation, where is a decent hotel to stay in? factoring proximity to drinking and late night kebabs :)
LOL classic Dan.
