My name is Kev Flynn and I love my rugby league, I am a fanatical supporter of my team the Eels.
I have been devastated by this week's events with regards to your contract negotiations and I am really angry that this has happened. I can certainly understand your hesitation now to join our once great club.
Putting this drama aside for a moment, I personally, and I'm sure that I can speak for thousands of eels supporters out there, would love to have you at our club. The abilities that you have and the character attributes that you show is needed for us to move forward and with players with your calibre here we will certainly not be amongst the cellar dwellers for too much longer. You have so much to bring to our club and our juniors can learn a lot from you.
We have some very good players now in our ranks and we will be bolstered next year by more, I believe that if it wasn't for the amount of injuries that we have suffered and the issues around our salary cap then we would be much higher on the ladder than where we now are.
We have a very good coach in Brad Arthur who has instilled that fighting spirit into our team, believe me when I say this is a far better team now than in the past few years and I honestly believe that this is due to Brad.
Our club is definitely on the up with regards to administration, although it may not seem like that after what's just happened, but I do believe they are trying their best to improve our situation.
I ask that you try not to be influenced by all the media articles that are painting our club badly and think about why you wanted to come to our club in the first place. Honestly, I don't think Brad Arthur is going anywhere and I believe he will be with us for the long term.
I hope with all my heart that you come to Parra and lead the way into the future for our club. You have the skill set and attributes to really make an impression on our club and it's supporters.
