I walked away from the TV, turned it off with 10 minutes left in the first half. Irrespective of who won, & I don't care who did, and I have no idea at this point of time who did, but in saying all that, I make a vow that I will never watch a game of RL again no matter who is playing, with that reject ref from England in control of the play or in the bunker.
In the game time I watched, I have never seen that ref do anything other than to make sure the eels lost, the amount of tackled players with souths players lying all over the eels, no penalities, runninng back to where the eels were about to play the ball and continue to play the ref runs up and awards a penalty for what I don't understand, Gutho asked as to why the penalty, and is waved away with the reason given that Mahoney was off side with the eels knocking on, a replay showed no knock on and Mahoney behind the player with the ball. That was it for me and the story is finished.
I have one hope that comes from this game and that is our club coach and officials make a strong complaint to the NRL in regards to that ref and his handling of the game, for one side only.

Must admit I almost did the same myself after the video ref call. It got no better South's moved off the mark all night but it was Parramatta who gets called back. You can not win without the ball and Parramatta had none. Also what is a forward pass???. Issue for Parramatta is confidence to run yourself. No dummy half runs and one run each from the halves.
BA does need to apply some pressure on the refs in his pressers. Trent Robinsons whinge changed the whole game. BA puts ZERO pressure on the officials ever so we are always going to lose out on the close calls. The guy is a loser and promotes mediocrity. The sooner he leaves the better. I turned is off after 30 mins too with no hope of a comeback.
Colin there were some dodgy calls mate. There always are in footy. I think the reason we lost is how Bennett has some flow and nice structured play complemented by simple playing football. we don,t have that. Maybe some odd little glimpses of it but not enough. BA has plateaued and can,t seem to move from where he is..He has reached his limit and is not open to inputs or challenging himself to open up to see the game with different eyes. He has shown he gets stuck at a certain level and that's it. I don,t know where we go from here.We need good minds to sort this out with goodwill shown to BA and think very carefully about who we recruit.We don,t want to get stuck with a dud coach.We need a smart one. selected by smart people
Yes calls may of been dogy but seriosuly we looked like shit. No Excuses. BA to go. Fuck this team.
