An apology from a Grumpy Old Man

Not that any of you would have noticed, but it has come to my attention that over the past several months I have become a NEGATIVE Old Fart.

I wish to make an apology to all and sundry on this site for my behaviour.

I love my Eels and have done so for most of my life - I love seeing them win, but have not been able to take any enjoyment as of late for their achievements.

I will not go into detail, but sufficient to say I am doing it a lot tougher than I realised and in all honesty could not see my own downhill slide.

I will drop in to watch the conversations (maybe) but feel it best I take a sabbatical from 1Eyed Eel to allow you guys to enjoy the team's progress.

Again my sincerest apologies for my behaviour and hopefully I will return to my old sarcastic, but positive self sometime in the future.

May your Unicorns grow up to be the finest Rainbow Farting Stallions ever.

Don't let negativity get in the way of telling it like it is. As a long time contributor you've earned the right.

Hope all is well with you old bud and I hope to see you contributing for many years still. Whatever is up with you, you are in my thoughts.

Sir col, your alright right mate, I always like to read your posts. There are a few on here that take the cake for negitivity you in my opinion are not one of them.

Come on Col, yes you've been a grumpy old fart but no one here cares.

We are here for a laugh and to see the team improve.

It hasn't been easy to be a positive 'unicorn rider' here lately and I had my own spit a few weeks ago. But we are improving.

I also know that being incapacitated doesn't help.

Have a break but not too long. Go shopping for a unicorn, you know you want to ride again.
