An admirable loss

lose your fullback early and fight to the end is acceptable but our mental state has been so soft for so long. If salmons dropping is justifiable then moses must be in reserve grade next week.

  • I missed whole game

    did Brown play?

was Evans any good? Paulo? Smith?

have seen score tho, bashed us?

  • Yes very admirable.

Only lost by 20 thanks to some great late second half tries.

If we can carry that form into the next few weeks we can give this comp a real shake.

  • I would say it was more predictable than admirable.

Shit players, Shit coach, Shit administration - accordingly, once again, we all had to witness a shit result.

Lucky the Sharks took their foot of the pedal - if they had've kept at it the score would have been about 50 to 6, maybe 12.

No team is going worse than us (as usual).

  • Sorry. I didnt explain myself. I meant an admirable loss is thd least you could expect when you lose your best player but we folded like a cheap indian suit. You would think you would aim up and make up for the loss of your captain but our trait of giving up at the first sign of adversity is getting very ingrained. I dont blame this coach for that trait but it is clear he can’t erase it.

    • Gutho was a loss yes.

But as usual no plan b or C etc.

And if Gutho is our best player we are more screwed than we think

  • Fair Dinkum. If you reckon that's an acceptable loss then you would accept a gang banging from the Hell's Angels.

  • I really enjoy all of parra's admirable losses.

This loss was a good loss, not a great as being pumped by Melbourne, not quite up there with getting beat by Penrith, but was similar in enjoyment to getting belted by Newcastle and Canberra every season. Can't wait for the orgasm loss probably to be inflicted by the titans or bulldogs sometime soon.

  • Tbh we were lucky that we didn’t cop a few more tries - the sharks were disallowed 2 and bombed 1.

    • Well said! We need 3-4 middle forwards and we have 500k to spend. Cap management has not been the best. I really worry for tep he has taken so many head knocks that it has effected his decision making. Serious concerns need to be raised about his welfare

  • Everyone plays well week in week out....lol
