Did anyone else notice that the players seemed reluctant to give Alvaro a run? It may be because he came on late when the game was in the balance, but I watched him run one out from the ruck a few times looking for the ball and he was either cut out or the ball runner looked and did not pass. He finished the game with only 1 run on debut. Don't think we can read too much into it, but will be interesting to see what happens next time around.

I think it was a reaction to Alvaro's knock on first up... As you mentioned, with the game in the balance I thought especially Peats seemed reluctant to give the ball to the rookie in case it happened again. He did look busy and keen for work though.
A lot of promise but over before it even began.
Occasionally they would pass out and I could have my way.
Agree Frank, Rohypnols always handy to have around the house.
