"Risati won't be a centre. He will be in the halves for sure. Cant say who will be better out of the 2 since Lorenzo has barely played cup whilst Risati is only playing SG balll for the first time next year. Must see them when they are consistently…"
"Not sure of his contract situation. Woudlnt say he is as destructive as Sualii considering he was playing nrl at 17 lol."
"I'm not suggesting throwing Lorenzo or any other young player in there now, they aren't ready, my point is they still won't be ready for a start in 2027 either so are we going to sign another 1 year stop gap 6 for 2027?."
"Thanks KN/ EA. Just checking my gut feeling. Hopefully, he stays & makes good on his potential. I like his upside: footy nous, big body, kicking game, goal-kicker. Ain't many sixes offering all that. He's called by many in RU as a "Sua'ali'i clone…"

Never a big Twal fan and dont think we will regret letting him go but the fact weve got a bloke like Timmy signed till the end of 2019 and we let a guy like Twal go, thats a bit strange i would think.
Hope Brad can get something out of him, hes doing some serious plodding over at the roosters and has been for years.
Hopefully Brad can get the best out of him.
Some of you peeps are crapping on as if Twal is the next best thing in the NRL.
BA has a role for every player that he uses. I'm sure he doesnt have any hidden agendas and if he thought Twal was up to the task to play for a NRL that will be playing finals footy he would have used him.
Much easier playing for a side and wanting to prove your worth without the pressure of results such as the Tigers.
I think Evans will kill it at Parra as I feel he isn't valued at the Roosters and used just as a mere sub here and there.
Twal, 42 minutes , 11 runs, 103 metres, 29 tackles and 1 offload.
Mannah , 30 minutes, 6 runs, 55 metres,16 tackles and 0 offloads.
Vave, 32 minutes, 9 runs, 92 metres, 22 tackles and 0 offloads.
Alvaro, 37 minutes, 9 runs, 74 metres, 32 tackles and 0 offloads.
Matagi, 42 minutes, 11 runs, 93 metres, 23 tackles and 1 offload.
So going by the stats, the more difficult question would be, who doesn't he offer more value than!!!
I've watched a lot of Wenty. Alex has promise and will become a regular first grader with the Tigers. BUT he is not at the same level now of Mannah, Matagi, Vave, Alvaro, Terepo, F.Pritchard, O'Brien this year. He is also well behind Evans and a different type of player to Meehan.
As the interchange will not change to 6 (as expected 6 months ago) most clubs are now (including BA) are more interested in signing very big/tall mobile aggressive frontrowers and that is the reason why we signed Evans and are grooming Meehan. Unfortunately, Alex was in direct competition with Alvaro and Terepo and he may never get to their all round level.
Additionally, Alex was offered a top 25 NRL position with the Tigers and we didn't have that position for him with us.
I do wish him the best and who knows what will happen in the future.
Over all,
Apart from Watmough and Foran, Frichard each for different reasons which turned out bad purchases. BA has been spot on in recruitment. Guth, Brown, Auv'a, Matagi, King signed for peanuts. Hoffman, Vave and Moses definitely doing the job.
By the look of it too, we have quite a bit of money to spend too for next year with Semi leaving.
Not to say he won't come good, and I hope he does, but he was way behind other front rowers and would have spent the next couple of years at Wenty.
He needs to add bulk, something he has not done since he was 18, if he can get heavier he has the work rate to be a good solid first grader, and may well do but unfortunately wasn't the style of player we need currently.
