With the NRL facilitating Souths in signing Burgess for about half his real worth, so they don't have to offload players (or only a few), this means that Walker will now stay put. Should we now go back to St George and sign Dylan Farrell as he is an experienced centre?
The players we have signed, both have plenty of potential, but both are very inexperienced with very little NRL playing time. I don't think we can rely on such inexperienced players to hold our right side together. A 1 year contract for Farrell for probably less than originally we were going to pay (with St George picking up the balance of his contract) would be an astute buy imo.

Pou, with the Burgess example now set Hayne's worth would have to be about $550k wouldn't it but we apparently can pay him $1m with the excess not counted?
If Farrell was a decent player, I'd say yes.
But he's average and hasn't done a lot, so I'd pass and stick with what we have.
