Adam Doueihi has been granted a release by Souths today. Now this bloke can play halfback, 5/8, fullback and centre. Not sure where he is going "Tigers probably" or the never ending salary cap compliant Roosters. However this bloke could be a very very good pickup for our club. Weather it be as backup to our current players or as a first choice starter, he can cover nearly every backline position. And with injuries sure to hit our starting squad this year, i think we are very light on for replacements especially the backline. Whats people thoughts.

Should've waited out Takas contract because he's a perfect replacement and upgrade for him. Idk why we rushed his signing lol not like anybody wants him.
yep you know i agree Beans. I think a bloke of Doueihi's skill and versatility would help take us to that top 4 spot.
Except we've been playing Taka as a backrower lately and Doueihi doesn't play there. Taka only plays in the backline if we're desperate.
Douehi can't be as bad as Taka is in the backrow lol
Please expound on this forwards depth. I make it we have three starting level backrowers in Matterson, Lane and Niukore. After them we have Andrew Davey, who has never played NRL, possibly David Gower and Brad Takairangi.
I'd also like to point out Doueihi did his ACL in 2018 and he's still in the danger window for either re-injuring that knee or suffering another lower limb injury.
And how many edge forwards do you think you can justify in a 30 man roster ?
For me it is a total of 4 with a couple of pinch hitters from the middles or centres, like Gower & Taka.
Two established starters, ie: Lane & Matterson.
One established backup, ie: Niukore
And one project, ie : Davey.
Very very very desperlte.
Piss Taka off now. Taka ability matches this kids skid marks.

I doubt he'll come here to be a back up, and I think fullback is his spot. Good player, but not what we need, so pass.
Spot on Poppa there is always an injury or rep duty in our backline and he can cover them all.
