  • The real indication would be if the Tigers re signed Brooks who is off contract this year. Douehi is on $500k this year so a 1 year extention wouldnt break the bank. So the Tigers have one half signed for 2024.

It would appear Brooks has to wait on Mitchs decision perhaps. Brooks $1.1m goes a long way to helping sign Mitch.

    • I think a big factor for Moses is playing with Brooks again, if Brooks is gone Moses might just stay at Parramatta. Not saying Moses is going only to play with Brooks but it would help his decision.

      • I think that is rubbish LB, Moses and Brooks were flatmates, not lovers.....he is now partnered up and has a kid.

I am sure he can catch up with Brooks at any time, Brooks does nothing to flatter Moses game......if Moses moves it will be for money or some club relationship question marks that niggles him. He owes Tigers no favours!

Maybe Uncle Nick has got into Tedesco's ear and said if Keary doen't make it through, there is a job for your mate (moses best man at Teddy's wedding), after all Moses can wait to the end of the season before making up his mind to stay or leave......that's one of the few advantages I can see in a player option.

Winning a comp with Easts certainly adds some security.....personally in saying that though, its pretty hollow to win a comp with a bought team...as far as I'm concerned we won in 2009 and the records mean fcuk all, again Melb players still claim the titles they had taken away.

        • I agree, that would be about number 789 on Moses' list  reasons for going to Tigers

        • I mean true, it is not the main factor but Brooks being there would be a bonus for him i believe. I am one who is saying he will stay regardless though.

    • Brooks is set for life after last contract. he will be set even on minimum wage. If Moses is seriously that stupid to run back to a club who neglected him I'm honestly done with rugby league. Parramatta created Moses, don't go running home to Benji yet.

      • Exactly

  • I was hoping that if Moses signed we would sign with Tigers we would sign Douehi.
