Adam Blair

Does anyone else have an issue on Blair's attempted tackle of Jennings late in the game? Definitely a late shot but looked like a clear shoulder charge to me.The commentators made a huge issue of the Kenny flop but made no comment on Blair's grubby tackle that ended up hurting his own team mate. Blair changed direction and aimed at Jennings legs making no attempt to make a proper tackle. As a player I would much prefer Kenny flopping on me rather than Blair's weak act.

  • How about the hit on moses that was a shoulder charge .reffs missing that was not good kenny hit the ball thats all .
    • Refs missed a late shoulder charge on Moses last week too
      What is it? moses season?
  • Blair is our Edwards.  Enough said.

    • BD, I'm not too sure that I would put Two heads in the same category as  Blair, outside of the dumb flop that was the cause of powder room bust up he did well tonight and usually does, that's the worst of him as tries to show how tough he is.

For me Blair is a real dog, and he does more cheap shots in a game than any other player in the game that I can think of.  He's off contract end of this year and believe he's heading over the ditch next season, horse wont miss him.  He is listed as being on report as well

    • Big Dave do you still feel the same way the morning after? Please say you don't . That's an unfair comparison made in the heat of the moment perhaps.
That Melbourne thug makes it his business to act like he does each and every game for years. Kenny is not the sharpest tool that's for sure but he brings so much to the table with his passionenergy and presence to the side.
      There is no comparison.
  • He's a grub... always has been. Look at the system he's from though - grub training school south of the border. Felt sorry for McCulloch but hope Blair felt like a nob for what he ended up doing to his own player. He had one that looked close to a shoulder on Moses when he belted him early on too.

  • Yeah I thought Blairs was worthy of a report .
  • Blair IS and always has been a grub - that's why they team him up with Thugday.

  • Blair is a grubby POS, typical Melbourne grub.

Karma him taking out his own man.

lol @ the Broncotards having a sook about Kenny at the presser.

    • It makes me laugh when the horses go on this way, yet I read this morning in a match review and think it was McCulloch who said that the horses protect their own.  What was intimated in that short statement has been proved to be true over the years with the way they seem to act like princes and can do anything they like on the field in a tackle or off it. If pinched or the like they resent it.

Blair being the ongoing grub thankfully has a limited future owing to his age, think he goes across the ditch next year, so he will continue a slide down the rung.  I have also watched Sammy for a while, while he has been a good toiler for them and QLD etc, he is another player who resents being tackled, wriggles and kicks like a snake with broken back when he hits the deck which compliments his running style.

Sammy is a level above Blair though.
