Bloody horrible disease and a death sentence - it's just a matter of how long. Watched the old girl go due to this shitty thing only 2 years ago. They lose their memory, the rest of their faculties, forget even who their family members are and finally the brain seems to have a hard time even remembering how to advise the body how to work. Crap news... thoughts with the family. Keep rockin' Mal...
Sad ,sad news.My uncle's Mrs in Melbourne has it.She went from an unpleasant bitch,to a forgetful unpleasant bitch. My poor cousin is now having to cope with both parents reverting to childhood.I hope dementia never visits me.
There's more than just one thing wrong with that boy.
You can only enjoy what time is left - knowing the ultimate outcome cannot be avoided is probably the toughest part of dealing with it... that and watching an adult go full circle back to almost being like an infant. But, when the battle is over, you remember the person they were in better days, not the person a rotten disease made them become towards the end.
