ABSOLUTE RIP OFF

I live in Brisbane also a interstate ticket member and plan on taking some family and friends to the game in a few weeks. But was shocked to find out the prices for a child and a adult in the away supporters bay.Tried contacting the club and the nrl and the Broncos to no prevail absolute joke. They wonder why bums aren't on seats.

  • Brisbane would have to have one of the highest ground attendances in the comp wouldn't they ? Out of curiosity what are you hoping for from The NRL ?

$57 for a child and adult doesn't seem too bad for such a great stadium . Maybe take your family to a QLD Cup game .
  • Use codeword " Stayhomeandwatchit'. Its obvious you dont attend many games, i think the prices are reasonable considering Suncorp Stadium is the premier place to watch league..and given the fact you will be surrounded by like minded Eels fans, its worth every cent!
  • Have you ever been to a eels Broncos game up here we make up half the crowd mate.

Have you seen where they sit the away supporters bay at suncorp hardly worth $50 for a adult. I reckon you have too much money in the bank to think these prices are fine
    • Mate its the same price as a box of beer . We pay that to park our car for a few hours in Sydney . I'm not loaded , but $50 to take my kid to Suncorp doesn't seem excessive . If ya not gong to have 20 beers and 5 hot dogs it's a less than $100 night out .

Would I pay it if we were playing shite and I knew we were gunna get flogged ? Probably not .. but since it's shaping for a great game . It's not a rip off .
  • Just have a pinger before you go and you won't have to pay the expensive beer prices and you should be able to get out of it for under $100 to get off ya chops , watch a good game , and buy you and ya kid a lollipop on the way home .
  • Also for the exact same seats the previous week against the dragons the price drops to $42.

How can the price change depending on the opposition
    • Well that ... I don't agree with . No an Eels supporter shouldn't be charged more than any other supporter just because we are playing well .

You should've explained that in your initial post .

      THATS BULLSHIT

Origin , finals etc , yeah ok can cop that . But a round game should be he same no matter who's playing . If it's a shit game do you get a $8 refund on the way out ?
    • Wouldn't pay $5 to watch the dragqueens at the moment
  • They charge per head up there so its a bit extra.
