I am the only one that believes Woods shouldnt be in the side?
He failed miserably in this arena last year. I hope i am wrong and he goes out and has a blinder, just cant see it happening.

I think he has been in sensational form this year, imo he is a 'true' pack leader, he has attitude that he has backed up on the park, he has bent the line, imo he has played like an origin player this year and i think he has earned his spot almost being the form forward of the comp.
Agree he didnt go well last year, but i think another chance is in order, his attitude and niggle on the park is what we need imo, and i think he would have been chosen even if Fafita would have been fit.
Sure hope he isn't off before the 15 minute mark; we're a bit light on props.
Unlike players like Idris, Woods seems to have played worse as we got closer to origin selection?
He was on fire for the first 6-7 rounds but then plateaued.
Tim Grant should be there instead of Woods. Matt Scott will destroy him within 15 minutes and he will never be seen again in origin.

Guess thats your opinion and entitled to it. Woods has never stood up to the big boys yet. Why would SOO be any different.
He looks good trampling the halves etc. But time will tell.
On form he is the second best prop in the competition...and the best is out injured. So why shouldn't he be picked? Yes he was overawed in his debut last year but if you dropped every player in that situation we would have 17 new players ever game.
What worries me is that they have only picked two props again...a gamble that fails ever year. With ony four backrowers on the bench who is going to replace Woods & Tamou after 20 min? Who is going to take over the hard hitups the middle? Fat Gallon??? I still have visions of him trying to chase the 300yo Tonga a couple of weeks ago....looked like Jabba the Hutt!
This is the weakest Qld side I've ever seen so it will be the biggest disgraceful embarrassment if NSW lose this game.
