Aaron Woods on open market

If dogs pay a fair bit he may be worth it?

Dont like the lack of aggression

But we need some size, post contact metres and reliable offload

Also we need some representative players to get a fair deal from the refs

We should be talking

With Mybe gone to Tigers and Woods on the open market dogs may get away without losing Klemmer. Doubt Pay would survive if they lost Klemmer

  • I agree with you Wile, while he does lack aggression and he is far from my favourite front rower I do think he could be good for us at the right price. He has good go forward, plays big minutes, has one of the best offloads for a front rower and also has good footwork at the line. I reckon he would be a good point of difference from Jnr Paulo.

The thing you have to ask is, would we be better with him in the team and I say yes we would. He wouldn't be my first choice but beggars can't be choosers and if he is the best we can realistically get then we should go for it.

    • Everything youre saying here HKF the dogs fans are saying the opposite on the kennel, they seriously want to bash him.

That stuff youre saying about him he does looks good in highlights packages but in reality he doesnt put in out there much, i believe if he came here it would all end in tears.

  • That worked out well for him. I still don't know if I rate him. Looks lazy but is very strong. Would go ok here. I wonder if they would want him back at Tigpies as bargain price prop.
  • Woods is abit like mannah

He posts good numbers statistically but looks uninspiring when out there playing

Money is better spent on klemmer in my opinion. Every team need a crazy forward in their team and especially with the loss of kenny edwards we need a front rower with a few screws loose.
    • Woods is far better than Mannah and the dogs will not be letting Klemmer go that is why woods is being shopped around.

      • Thete shopping both they have 13 spots to fill next year with obly 1.2 mil (now mbye is sold) average fringe first grade is between 125 and 250k they will. Need a few mid range 400kish players as well they need to free another million or so with paying some of klemmer wage as wel they may free up another 500k but it wont be enough.

    • And if we can’t get Klemmer?

    • HKF yeah i agree he is far better than mannah for sure but the point im making is the way dogs fans treat woods is abit similar to how we eels supporters look at mannah. As uninspiring forwards who dont do more than their roles and little to spark the team regardless of the stats they produce

I think first priority is klemmer and if we cant get him then i dont mind woods
  • Stop it
