Has anyone else heard that we have signed him for 2023? The warriors have just released him, he's a very good young player think he'd be a great Marata replacement. With the signings of Hodgson, Murchie and Hopgood were shaping up well in recruitment.

Meh, he was an Eels junior playing 20's. Then went to Melbourne for two years then signed for Warriors.
Melbourne letting him go with their needs for depth forwards and the fact he got limited minutes during the year for the Warriors, starting 5 of 14 games and only running over 100 metres once.
In BA we trust i guess but bit underwhelming considering we should be striving higher with a Taupau or Klemmer, Pene is practically the same as Momoisea at this point, same as Makatoa, Ogden, Greig and Rodwell. We need to be better on the bench.
Now watch him sign and become the next Papali'i Lol.
I don't know that Taupau or Klemmer really offer that much. They would still be coming off the bench for limited minutes unless injury strikes. I'd much rather invest in the future.
Klemmer or Taupau would develop the future. Larry Muagatutia is the future and can get assistance from Klemmer or Taupau.
Longfin don't take this as me being smart to you, just generally asking; Do you consider Klemmer or Taupau better than Rodwell, Momoisea, Greig, Ogden, Makatoa and Pene? If so then thats who we sign.
When you sign a player you must ask, are they better than what we already have? Hodgson is better than other hooker options so good signing. Hopgood is in my opinion better than all those listed, well has brighter future so good signing.
Klemmer for 2 years would add what we have lacked from the bench.
LB Papa was nothing when we signed him and certainly not better than we had.
Pene will be good, if those minutes he played for Storm the kid caused damage, i tho feel Tapau would be better for different reasons and Klemmer being touted by Doggies

I get what you are saying, but there is a budget as well that we need to fit the team into. When we have 2 origin quality starting props, you would expect the development of the younger players would come from them. If N Brown goes, then yes we need an old experienced head to replace him.
Tell that to the dogs - they are buying a premiership by the looks and will win another GF before we do, willing to bet.
