Well said. Onward and upward in 2020
Great experience for D Brown i thought he tried his guts out tonight in attack & defense imo he was our best player. Sign the kid up long term
Yep. It was a great comeback from 2018.
Well done to all.
A couple more quality forwards to be signed and we should be proper contenders next year.
Yep very proud of the team this year. More games at the fortress bring it on
Wohooo maybe one day we can keep dreaming with Moses at 7 we will never win a comp.. 33 years are we are still accepting wooden spoon to 5th! Wow but we never beat a top 4 team, yet it was great what happens next year when the fortress turns into another ground? Or we lose the majority of our away games? As long as we are mediocre the parramatta faithful will keep returning
We beat Canberra who came 4th
And rabbits who came 3rd
Fuck next year! I care about tonight. We were absolutely shite. Where was the aggression? We waited to play a finals game to stop playing like parramatta.
I'll certainly take it over last season.good signs ahead back line is pretty much sorted , Reed is a gun can't wait to see what type of player he is in a few years and Dylan brown needs to be the first priority for the club in the off season sign him up long term.
I think squad wise we should be on the look out to replace Manu mau he was great in the back half of the season and will be missed.
We still have a long way to go before we can compete with the storm and roosters. Hopefully that loss stays with the players and they don't get over excited with where we are now.
Bem : You have the philosophy right. We are in the competition for one reason alone, that is to win the competition. Anything less than that is failure. Praising a year of failure will do nothing but ingrain further failure. We had a fortunate draw this year. We only played the Storm and Easts once. Had we played them twice we would not have finished 5th we would have finished 7th on the table. Making the eight is no great achievment. All you need to do is win half your games. Arthur has only made the eight twice in his over- long tenure at the Eels. A good win against Brisbane has been his only success in making the eight. I think that you overpraise Arthur when you describe him as being average.
