The reason being, we are known to be flat track bullies, as oppose to this year where we have slumped into a wave of form. Up, down, up, down and so on. Since 2019, this is a simple "We will win" match basically as we bullied young teams, now people are saying we should win or will because we lost last week so the wave goes in our favour.
I put this match down to one of our most important of the season and here's why. Firstly, Leichhardt against a Wests team who have not won in a while, rookie coach looking for first win with possible chance of getting a full-time spot, their captain wants the 6 spot and will play his way into it, while the current 6 will play to keep it and spite the club for trying to drop him. Secondly, we are coming a poor loss, added to that we have no Paulo and perhaps Ryan Matterson, 2 of our 3 starting middle and our go forward. Thirdly, we win we lead into the Warriors at home with form, into a massive fortnight against two teams vying for top 4 in Brisbane and Penrith. Better off coming up with two wins before hitting those two where wins are great but not damaging to our run to the finals.
To us, the easier wins are the most crucial, tomorrow night if we are like we think how we played v Penrith it should be 13+. It is possible, i am looking forward to seeing how we go, cause if we lose god help this site, nobody will be safe haha.
