I know a lot of farmers are crying with relief for this rain.But for the rest of us ,COME ON,ENOUGH ALREADY!. I hope everyone is coping well with the rain and your homes are damage free. That's two days of golf washed out and that minor inconvenience is the most I expect to suffer.Do people remember the flooding we had in the 80s and 90s, especially in the Nepean floodplains? Since then a lot of new suburbs have been built on those flood plains,I hope those homeowners come through unscathed.
I am going out for a drive to the coast around Vaucluse so wish me luck.To everyone else,stay dry and safe and think about next season.
