I have watched the bunnies an titans tonight, and there is a player in the bunnies side that I have been watching for a few rounds now, and really impresses me as a top player of the future, that player is Angus Crichton.
Only turned 21 this year just before the season started, tonight he scores 3 tries after a couple a week back. Just when the bunnies looked shot he brings them back into the game and they ultimately win the game. Apparently came from RU where he also represented Australian in two Australian school boys RU internationals.
For a young forward he has an amazing side step in his run, is powerful in both attack and defence, one can only wonder how good he's going to be in the future if he continues to play as he has been this year.
Off contract end of next year, one can be assured that he will be high on any clubs shopping list. I think he would look just fine in the B&G eels colours.

Never hurts to dream. I would give him no more than 2 years and if he continues improvements as he has done this year he will become a permanent fixture in the Australian teams and NSW SOO.
The kid is simply outstanding, good call on a young Hindmarsh Numbers. He will play 20 origins for NSW or i am a bad judge.
Good call Col he is excellent
I'm not advocating we get them back but we can't keep shedding rep quality players if we want to win a comp. Simple as that.
I know there's reasons but it seems there's always reasons. Throw in Junior Paulo and there's another potential rep quality player we've let walk.
Can we just please start to keep the ones that will kick on? I notice we have like 5-6 in the NSW U/18's Origin. We won the SG Ball GF. We're in 6th spot on the Holden Cup Ladder. Ok our Wenty team is nothing special. But the Eels have been so absent from State of Origin, from Finals Footy, from playing for Australia for way way way too long. Can we please please get our shit together and start building a side of genuine rep quality.
